Channel Description
Sky Sports Racing (formerly At the Races) a joint venture with Arena Racing Company is a channel dedicated to horse racing. It was launched on May 1, 2002, as At the Races channel and continued to broadcast until 2004. The partnership that the channel had with Channel Four ended and the channel was closed on 29 March 2004.
The channel was relaunched on June 11, 2004, to continue its journey of racing competitions. On April 18, 2018, the channel was rebranded as Sky Sports Racing. The channel was part of Sky Go and then after part of the package.
The channel broadcasts a variety of horse racing from Australia and the United Kingdom. Some of the events include International Racing and Australian Racing. Also, the programs include racing from China as part of a wider agreement to broadcast Asian Races.
However, the channel is focused on Australia and the UK and covers the main events from each racing competition. That is why the channel is so attractive and amuses fans in the UK and Ireland. The channel has quite a presence in social media, where it continues to hold the old name.
