Joachim Low is the best alternative for Turkey after Stefan Kuntz departure.

His loss against Japan was the latest of a scenario with a known end. The Turkish federation will not tolerate another figure like the one in Euro 2020 and all the indications bring another name to train the national team.

Stefan Kuntz left a squad full of qualities and the last official match against Armenia showed that Turkey has more to learn.

The successors of Kuntz and his assistant Hamit Altintop are expected to be named soon. With the possibility to stay for Hamit, but the chances are few, the new names are Mesut Ozil and Joachim Low.

Mesut Ozil would be the perfect name to replace Altintop and Low would take the place as a head coach.

Nothing is confirmed yet as new development seems to pause the operation that will bring a new philosophy of play to the squad.

Low managed Germany for 10 years and won one World Cup in 2014. His performances were excellent with the national team as he reached the final in Euro 2008, the semifinal in Fifa World Cup 2010, Euro 2012, Euro 2016, and a group stage elimination in Russia in 2018. That cost him the job in Germany.

But Low is a high-quality manager and he would bring changes and experience to the national team. He can implement the new system in the squad and transmit positive energy to the players.

But above all, he can build a new winning team that sources to the quality that the current players have and at the same time bring his philosophy of play.

Turkey is used to create from the back and has strong midfielders. They have top-quality names like Hakan Calhanoglu, Salih Ozcan, and Orkun Kökcü. Turkey is seen as one of the best teams of Euro 2024 and they will try to advance as much as possible in the competition.
