Former NBA Player Sindarius Thornwell Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Former NBA player Sindarius Thornwell was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence and unlawful conduct toward a child.

In a disturbing turn of events, Thornwell allegedly assaulted a woman while she was holding a child after an argument erupted on Glenn Village Road. The victim recounted that Thornwell threw a cup of water at them and hit them in the back of the head. Despite denying hitting the victim, Thornwell did admit to throwing the cup of water, according to deputies. Further investigation by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department revealed evidence supporting the victim’s claims.

Following the incident, the victim sought medical attention at a hospital. Meanwhile, Thornwell faced warrants for his arrest and was subsequently booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. He was granted a $25,000 bond related to the domestic violence charges.
