Aaron Wan Bissaka was injured after coming as a sub at the end of the match he played against Brighton at home.
According to the United sources, he can be out for 4-6 weeks due to a hamstring strain injury and can lose the first part of the season. The coach has to make without him against Bayern Munich in the away game.
Diogo Dalot will be the starter for United as ten Hag can make it without a long list of players. Sofyan Amrabat has not made his debut yet. He is trained separately with the youngster Kobbie Mainoo.
Both are in doubt as Amrabat has suffered an injury since his last presence with his national team Morocco. Mainoo is still injured since the horror clash with Rodrygo, in the pre-match season against Real Madrid.
Mount and Varane have joined the group. Mount has made only two appearances for the club since he joined from Chelsea. For Varane this would be the return after he was substituted in the game against Nottingham Forest.
Antony and Sancho will miss this game also as they have permission from the club to rest after the difficult situations they had with the club. Anthony is given some days of rest from the club and Sancho can return after he fixes his relations with the club, if he is not already for sale in this transfer window.
The list of the injuries goes on and on with the absentees who need time to recover. Tyrrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, and Tom Heaton still have to recover before being ready to play for United.
This group is still motivated though to achieve something important in Munich. Bayern is a tough squad but the group has all the qualities to turn this into a positive moment. A victory would change things and return optimism to this squad after the last results in the Premier League.
