Tottenham win with ten men to stay on track with the top four.

Jacob Brown committed a rough challenge on James Maddison inside the first minute and for the referee, this was a yellow if the foul had occurred in the latest minutes.

Richarlison had a 1v1 chance in the fourth minute after the previous chance he had in the second minute, but in both cases, he could not score. In the first case, the ball went wide and in the second case, Kaminski stopped him.

Lockyer stopped Son in the midfield in the 7th minute in one of their duels in that match. Son had a chance in the 10th minute in the zone but his shot went wide. Tottenham started really intense and wanted to score first in this game.

Jacob Brown and Richarlison had another duel in the 13th as Brown fouled Richarlison one more time.

Kulusevski passed for Richarlison in the 17th, but Lockyer was there to intervene. Lockyer received a yellow in the 19th minute, for tackling Maddison.

Tottenham continue to attack

Yves Bissouma made a solo run in the 23rd and passed to Heung Min Son, but his ball was too strong.

Luton had finally the first chance in the 24th minute after a corner kick executed by Doughly with Morris’s header that went wide.

Pape Matar Sarr and Dejan Kulusevski combined in the 29th and Kulusevski tried from inside the box, but Kaminski reacted after a wonderful shot.

Spurs got a free kick in the edge of the box in the 32nd after Maddison was tackled by Nakamba.

Richarlison got an elbow in his face after an aerial duel with Morris. Carlton Morris received a yellow in exchange.

Yves Bissouma received the fifth yellow of the season for tackling Ogbene to stop a counter. Eliah Adebayo pushed Cristian Romero and Luton saw themselves to cancel a goal in the next action.

Three minutes were added on and Maddison had an ideal chance to send Tottenham ahead in the 46th, with the shot that ended over the bar. Bissouma received the second yellow in the 49th after a simulation and was sent off. Tottenham closed the first half with 10 men.

Richarlison was the sacrificed one after the first half and Pierre Hojbjerg was in. The second half saw Tottenham in the attack in the first minutes.

But Luton responded with an Ogbene-Adebayo combination. Ogbene had the chance with an empty target, but could not score.

Tottenham had two corners in the 51st, but none of them was useful as James Maddison’s crosses could not serve for his teammates.

Micky Van De Ven scored in the 53rd after a short pass from James Maddison to send a ten-man Tottenham in a deserved lead.

Alfie Doughty could have equalized with a volley in the 56th, but his attempt went wide in the 56th.

Pedro Porro tried with the outside of his foot in the 61st, but the ball was inches away the right post of Kaminski.

Rob Edwards prepared a triple sub in the 66th. Jacob Brown walked off for Luke Berry; Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu replaced Tahith Chong; Elijah Adebajo was replaced by Curley Woodrow.

Luton had their chances with Doughty, but his shot was blocked in the 73rd.

James Maddison and Heung Min Son left the pitch to be replaced by Emerson Royal and Oliver Skipp.

The changes brought nothing in the game as the game entered in the final minutes.

Tottenham managed to keep the possession and to secure a mighty important win with 10 men.
