Andros Townsend is the newest player of Burnley and has been present for 12 minutes in the last meeting against Real Betis.
Though a friendly, Townsend gave good signs against Betis and he expects many minutes in the Premier League this season. Townsend came as a free agent from Everton. He missed the whole season due to a knee injury and this season returns to play in a new club.
He is the 10th signing of Burnley this season, with the squad from Lancashire that returns to play in the Premier League. The biggest signing of Burnley remains Zeki Andoumi, with the Swiss-Turkish player that came from Basel for 15 million pounds.
Townsend spent two years in the blue side of Merseyside and return to play at the age of 32. This time Company will have to evaluate many factors before making him a reference point in the starting eleven.

The coach saw the match as a positive test and said that the pitch conditions made it difficult to perform.
