Saudi Arabia is set to welcome two of the most important fights this December in Riyadh, with the organizers that want to profit from this chance.
Riyadh is the city to host Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder on the same night. Further, this would have been the event of the year. Both fights are a huge economic blow and will bring millions for organizers and the fighters.
Fury is facing Ngannou on October 28th. Anthony Joshua spoke about his fight and his role as a counterpart of the other fight.
“The goal is to have Usyk and Fury compete for the undisputed heavyweight championship, myself and Deontay Wilder, two big punchers, great fighters, been to the top of the mountain, slug it out, and may the best man win. It’ll be a great event potentially. Wait to see what happens and then finalize the devil in the detail.”
“Fury’s got to get past Ngannou. Usyk’s got to get past Dubois. Good luck to both of them. Good luck to every party involved and we can sit down and then re-jig things around.”
This is a great chance for the Saudis and the fighters themselves to produce a great show and at the same time fill the gaps that this season left for the other fights. One thing is for sure, spectacle and adrenaline will be at the highest levels.
