Baltimore fans can breathe a little easier—Lamar Jackson is back at practice and says he’s all set for the Ravens’ game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
When asked if he’d be ready to play, Jackson confidently replied, “Yeah, 100 percent.” He explained that his recent absence from practice was simply a way to rest his body during the long season. “Just resting the body, you know,” he added.
Head coach John Harbaugh initially indicated that Jackson’s missed practices were for rest, although Jackson was listed with back and knee issues on the injury report. By Friday, though, he was back on the field, ready to lead his team into Week 9 after a brief pause.

Jackson’s been having a fantastic season, throwing for over 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns, along with leading all QBs in rushing yards with 501. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport mentioned that the Ravens are likely to continue giving Jackson some rest days here and there to keep him fresh for game days.
Coach Harbaugh seems to be fully on board with this strategy, suggesting he’s open to adjusting Jackson’s practice schedule to prioritize game-day performance. “You want players to be at their best on Sunday,” Harbaugh said, hinting at the careful balance the Ravens are managing.
As the Ravens prepare to bounce back from a tough loss to the Browns last week, all eyes will be on Jackson this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET when they take on the Broncos. With both teams at 5-3, it’s set to be a big matchup for Baltimore.
