Novak Djokovic, the number two in the ATP world ranking has shown his strength by defeating Taylor Fritz 0-3 in a match that was dominated by the Serbian.
He expressed his thoughts about this game, focusing on the physicality and the conditions of the pitch.
“I think it was a great match again. We both struggled physically a lot, especially in the first set, set and a half. Very humid conditions, just sweating a lot and reaching the towel, basically after more or less every point, so yeah the first set was 6-1, but I think in terms of the time played, it was almost an hour.”
Djokovic analyzed each set and the moments that gave him the victory.
“Then in the second set, I felt he started playing better, missing less, hitting the spots better, but in the crucial moments, I guess I managed to just stay tough and find the right shots and make him play an extra shot, make him run. On the move, he is not really the most comfortable. I think I have done well.”

Now Djokovic will play in the semi-final and expects to learn the name of the opponent between the other four contenders Alcaraz-Zverev and Medvedev-Rublev.
