Newcastle wins by eight goals in an awesome performance. Gordon and Co. complete a dream match.

Newcastle started with Wilson and Almiron in the attack. Barnes had his minutes but he was subbed by Gordon at the 12th minute due to an injury. Sheffield United started with McAtee and Archer in the attack.

The game was aggressive in the early minutes and players of both teams were fighting for the ball. Gustavo Hamer cuts the run of Sean Longstaff with Longstaff who would have a chance two minutes later.

Minute 22 and Sean Longstaff shots after an assist by Gordon, scoring the first goal of the game.

Ahmedhodzic fouled Anthony Gordon from behind and Attwell booked him in the 28th minute.

Daniel Burn scored after a cross from Kieran Trippier in the 31st and this was the second and the goal that would enable Newcastle to play more quietly in the first half.

It was the beginning of a terrible evening for Sheffield

Gordon tackles fairly Egan and presents Callum Wilson with Foderingham, but the attacker’s weak shot is saved successfully.

Sven Botman has his chance and triples the advantage after a cross from the free kick. His header left no chance for Foderingham in the 35th.

Gordon created another chance for Willson in the 43rd, but Foderingham was there to collect another save.

Six minutes were added on and the first half was closed with the comfortable advantage of Newcastle with three goals. Gordon had the last chance in the 51st with a deflected shot, and Foderingham saved it.

Jaydon Bogle is subbed by Benie Traore during the halftime talk and Heckingbottom thought to get at least one back.

Almiron was playing a really good game and was helping Willson and Gordon to create. But among the attackers, he was the first alternative to be replaced with Willson and Gordon, who seemed to have a good form.

Callum Willson was finally in the game and scored in the 56th after an assist by Trippier.

Almiron was offside in the 61st and Attwell denied him the possibility to score the fifth.

Gordon corrects the action in the same minute with a shot from the distance. Newcastle was leading with five goals in Sheffield’s home.

Gustavo Hamer was out for Anis Slimani and Sheffield wanted to maintain the balance in the midfield.

More goals coming on…

Almiron was finally in the scene and scored the sixth on the 68th to send the scoreboard in a six-goal advantage.

Miguel Almiron was replaced by Sandro Tonali in the 70th minute. This game was quite brilliant for Eddie Howe’s men. Wilson and Trippier left the pitch for Livramento and Isak in the same minute.

Guimaraes scored the 7th in the 73rd and the nightmare was endless for Sheffield. They wanted for this match to end as quickly as possible.

Vinicius de Souza commits a dangerous foul on Anderson and for booked in the 75th. Anderson had the chance to score in the 81st from a corner kick, with his header that was saved by Foderingham.

Bruno Guimaraes was replaced by Lewis Hall in the 81st concluding a really good game.

Alexander Isak thought to close the spectacle with the 8th goal scoring with the right foot. The real question was about Sheffield if they deserve it after today’s performance. 8-0 after the 87 minutes!!!

Newcastle managed to keep the possession and ended an amazing game leading in each aspect of the game.
