Mason Greenwood will return to play football as his accusations for raping and assault are not proven and the striker is left free by the Crown Prosecution Service.
In fact, the striker is free from all accusations since this February, but he is not with the squad since last January. He played the last match against West Ham in January 2022 and since then has not been active in the football world.
According to Express, Mason Greenwood will return to play as United has a new agreement with the striker. But nothing is confirmed yet as the striker has not been traveling with the squad in the US Tour.
Now he asks the club for a solution to his problem. Mason is young and has plenty of chances to play and show his skills. Another step in his career would be a transfer to another club. But for that, he needs to play and get back to his form.

The United boss, Eric ten Hag said about the player that for now it is a club decision.
“It’s a club decision. Of course, I have said my ideas and opinions but it’s a club decision. We all have to accept that.”
“I can’t say so much about it. But what I say is I shared my opinion about it so let’s see what’s going to happen and what the decision will be.”
Greenwood said that he is relieved that he is free of any accusation and he can’t stay anymore out of the pitch.
“I am relieved that this matter is now over and I would like to thank my family, loved ones, and friends for their support. There will be no further comment at this time.”
Mason is preparing with his personal coach to be back on track in Manchester and any other club. Let’s not forget that there is a place in the national team that keeps the attacker motivated and willing to be trained. He will continue to play football at United or elsewhere.
