Liverpool win against Union with two goals and collects the second win in two matches in Europe.

Mohamed Salah had the first real chance of the game but his shot was saved by Anthony Moris in the fourth minute.

Darwin Nunez had two chances in the 10th and 14th minute, but in the first case his goal was disallowed for offside, and in the second his shot ended out.

Nunez had another chance in the 19th, but he could not receive the ball. Salah had a chance with a header in the 21st, but Moris saved his shot.

Gustaff Nilson had the chance with a header in the 26th, but his shot ended well wide. Liverpool won a free kick in the 34th and had the chance to score first one minute later but Tsimikas’s cross ended wide.

Konate passed for Nunez in the 36th, but his shot was out of the right post of Moris.

Alexander Arnold tried from the distance in the 44th, and Moris could not control the ball with Ryan Gravenberch who scored the first goal with an empty target.

The first half ended with Liverpool’s advantage and with Union St. Gilloise who wanted to show that they weren’t just visitors in Anfield.

Alexis McAllister entered for Wautaro Endo at the start of the second half. Curtis Jones and Luis Diaz were on the pitch for Darwin Nunez and Mohammed Salah.

Allison got away with poor control in the 47th minute as the opponents could not put the ball at the back of the net.

McAllister crossed for Diogo Jota in the 52nd, and the Portuguese attacker sent the ball into the target, but Moris was there with a wonderful save.

Curtis Jones had a shot in the 58th, but Castro Montes was there to deflect the ball. Ryan Gravenberch tried from a similar position but Moris saved his shot.

Trent Alexander Arnold left the pitch for Joe Gomez in the 63rd.

Amoura and Nilsson had the ideal chance to make it 1-1 with Nilsson who is one run late and could not make a passing point for Amoura in the 67th.

The coach Alexander Blessin saw the game and decided to change Nilsson with Kevin Rodriguez in the 67th. Terho was also out for Loic Lapoussin in the 67th to change the left side of the midfield and the attack.

Elliot and Jones combined in the 71st, but Jones was blocked successfully by Machida. Burgess was also successful in blocking Liverpool’s attacks one minute later.

Sadiki the 18-year-old was on the field for Union as Vanhoutee was out. Lazare Amani replaced Mathias Rasmussen in the 75th.

Dominik Szoboslai was on the field for Ryan Gravenberch and Liverpool started to play. Luis Diaz had a chance in the 79th but found the right post of Anthony Moris.

Sadiki was fouled in the zone, but the referee saw no foul in the 83rd minute.

Kevin Mac Allister got benched in the 86th and Ross Sykes was on the pitch. Rodriguez and Quansah had a battle in the last minute of the game and the Liverpool midfielder sent the ball in the corner.

Diogo Jota doubled the Liverpool lead in the 93rd defeating Moris with a diagonal sending the ball in the left side of the goal.

Amoura had a chance in front of Allison and the keeper saved the ball denying him the joy of the goal.

The match ended and Liverpool achieved the second consecutive victory in the European window.
