Juventus promoted Huijsen to their Next Gen squad in January 2023. He made his Serie A debut in October 2023. Roma took him on loan in January 2024, where he scored his first Serie A goals in February. In March 2024, he joined Spain’s U21 team. Bournemouth acquired him in the summer of 2024. He impressed with a full 90-minute Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest and scored his first goal in December 2024.
