The win with Newcastle can change all the expectations for Liverpool this season, with Jurgen Klopp and the squad that are in the title track.

Liverpool’s boss knows that is only the first step of a difficult journey and they will need more adrenaline like that in order to succeed in the Premiership. Jurgen Klopp said after the game that it was really difficult to win with 10 players.
“Boys deserved it today because, with 10 men, we played better and gave us a proper game. Before that, it was a bit wild, obviously the advantage was for Newcastle. We did not play calm enough, we’re sat under pressure where we hadn’t to.”
The coach emphasized the spirit of the team and how Liverpool reacted against Newcastle. Klopp mentioned the atmosphere and the conditions that made his team interpret his instructions.
“We have the greatest spirit. That is how it is. We are early. It’s early in the season. The atmosphere and the understanding of the boys are super. We have top camps, that’s great, but the spirit is something different.
“So, it is about what you make of it and of course, do I like we have two games with ten men? No. Konate’s injury because we had 10 men in that moment, that’s the truth. So because it wasn’t too intense, it is not a massive injury, but it’s a little bit and I will see what we had today.”
“So 70 minutes in Premier League, did you hear a lot that that leads to a turnaround in the game? I can’t remember it. But big stories need the moments and we will see what it is.”
For Liverpool is the time to change things and take the best from all the sources as the team will face tough games and tough squads in this Premier League’s season.
