Kylie Walker speaks before the match against Zvezda: I’m not 33 years old, I’m 33 years young.

Kyle Walker spoke about everything his contract renewal until 2026, his captaincy, his decision to stay, and the winning mentality in Manchester.

The captain’s vote has come in and these are the five captains that have been chosen we will lead the team for the festival season and ensure everyone is checked and fines are paid up.

I don’t think the order really matters but it is down to myself, Kevin, Rodri, Rubin, and Bernardo Silva.

Asked if the armband is something that he is continuing with, Kyle gave an answer:

“I have been very honored and it’s been a privilege to lead this group, this special group of players and you know I will continue to do that and to lead on and off the field.”

Then Kyle spoke about the mentality saying that is their job and they want to continue forward.

“I think first and foremost is a job. It is a job and we’re a massive club for a reason, because you know the manager believes in us and we’re all great players. Now it comes from within and you have to keep going and the hunger is still definitely in the changing room from us lads and I should help him as a manager as well.”

Walker mentioned the level he has reached this season and he said that it is difficult to say the best period he is in.

“I feel that the team is winning which makes me sound and seem great but I’m playing good football.”

The right fullback emphasized the pressure of winning multiple Champions Leagues.

“Obviously, we have been very fortunate to be covering this. That’s you know one of four so hopefully he is experiencing you know going again and going again.”

Walker explained the decision to stay saying he never wanted to leave this great team and for him was all about the wins.

I’m 33 now, and I’m not 33 years old, I’m 33 years young, and still feel great, but it was just me settling in and I didn’t want to sign another year and then have this conversation again next year.

“I wanted to be settled not just for me, but for my family as well”

Walker spoke about the decision of the coach to leave him out of the final:

“I think that’s the relationship between me and him and he had a lot of managers who wouldn’t give you an explanation and he did and I have to say a massive thank you”, ended Walker his interview.
