Koke, ex-Spanish footballer condemned for drug trafficking.

Sometimes roads of football can be mixed with a lot of activities, politics, business industry, and other fields such as criminal activity.

This happened to the Spanish footballer Koke, whose real name is Sergio Contreras Pablo was condemned to six years of prison by the Spanish court for drug trafficking and other criminal activity, such as the organization and trading the narcotics.

The player was found guilty this May as previous accusations were made in 2019. The player was found also guilty of these accusations as investigations were ongoing.

He played in MLS and also for Olympique Marseille as he was transferred in Greece to Aris Thessaloniki. Koke scored 30 goals there in 138 games before joining MLS.

He joined Houston Dymano in 2011 scoring just one goal with his performances that didn’t impress. He finished his career at Aris Thessaloniki, but the problems didn’t begin yet.

The player was involved in several drug organizations, accused of international drug trafficking in places like Morocco, and Spain.
