“I tried to take it as a positive kind of. I could talk to my coaches and they were trying to wake me up. So, I tried but then after the break, I actually played a little bit better, but still was not enough to play great against Coco, to beat her.”

Then Muchova confessed how she reacts in big moments like matchpoints and the level she has and plays in these moments. She said that it is like in the normal life when comes a point where she pulls out the best out of her. But in this game, she needed to be more energetic in the play and not make unforced errors (a total of 22 errors).

“I think under pressure I can play good, but yeah with matches like this I can’t wait when I’m in the corner to play the best tennis I had to play like this all the time, and this unfortunately not my day today.”

The young tennis player will have her chances to win again in the Grand Slams with the Australian Open that is on the door.
