Kauru Mitoma signes a new contract with Brighton and Hove Albion until 2027 and will profit around 150K per week.
The left winger is one of the most important players in De Zerbi’s formation and the coach was extremely happy for his renewal.
Meanwhile the sporting director David Weir said that is important for Brighton to have such a player in the squad.
“Ensuring that a player of Kaoru’s quality will remain with us for the long term is fantastic news.
“Kaoru adapted to the Premier League last season and has quickly become one of our most important players.
“His success is also a reflection of the work of the departments that have played a role in his recruitment, helped him gain important experience on loan and ultimately become a big part of Roberto’s first team group.
“I have no doubt that our supporters will be delighted with the news.”
Mitoma came from Union Saint Gilloise in the 21/22 season for €2.5 million and since then is one of the most valuable players for Brighton and Hove Albion.
