Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola was asked in the press conference in the pre match against Brighton if Calvin Philips is going to leave the club in January.
He answered that the transfer window is over and he has no plans to sell the players in January.
“The transfer window is over in the summer. Now we are here together. When we need a game like it is transitions or a game something like a little bit chaos or whatever, Kalvin is perfect.
“And for something you need to do and in that point I see players that can do better. It is as simple as that, no reason more than that.
“But after winter time he will be here, he is here and after that moment I don’t know what will happen with Kalvin, with me or any player. So, when the transfer is open, nobody knows,”-ended Guardiola his response.
