Audi Goals Drive Progress Initiative

Audi has been a long-time partner of MLS, making a big difference in the lives and careers of young soccer players through the Audi Goals Drive Progress initiative. Since its launch in 2019, the program has provided funding to support the growth and development of young athletes at MLS academies, which play a key role in nurturing soccer talent. Over the years, the initiative has expanded to not only focus on player development but also shine a light on the charitable efforts of players in their communities. To date, Audi has donated a combined total of $5 million to support MLS academies and various player-selected charities.

Audi’s dedication to community support will continue with the return of the Audi Goals Drive Progress Impact Award, which recognizes players making a positive impact off the field. A selection committee—including players, technical staff, front office staff, and media members—will evaluate current MLS players who are committed to improving their communities. The winner will receive a $150,000 donation to their chosen charity, with the award being presented during the MLS Cup, presented by Audi. Finalists for the award will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 24, through MLS channels.

Jalen’s journey and Audi’s ongoing commitment highlight the powerful connection between soccer and community, celebrating players who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference.
