Fulham Set Sights on Mainz’s Anthony Caci to Replace Kenny Tete

Fulham target 27-year-old Mainz defender Anthony Caci as they prepare to replace veteran 29-year-old Kenny Tete and bolster their squad this summer.

Fulham have enjoyed a strong campaign under Marco Silva, 47, and currently occupy ninth place in the Premier League table. They sit level on 42 points with eighth-placed Bournemouth.

The club’s hierarchy remain impressed by Silva’s work and plan to strengthen key positions this summer. Right-back Kenny Tete, 29, will depart on a free transfer when his contract expires in June.

fotnet24.net reports Fulham view Mainz full-back Anthony Caci, 27, as a top summer target. They first made contact over a potential move during the January window.

Talks with Mainz have clarified the club’s willingness to sell. With Caci under contract until 2026, Mainz seek a fee between €8 million and €10 million (£6.8 million–£8.5 million).

Caci’s versatility has turned heads across Europe. He can play at left-back, left midfield, right-back or right midfield with equal effectiveness.

The Frenchman has featured 28 times in the Bundesliga this season. He has scored one goal, provided seven assists and helped keep seven clean sheets.

Fulham face stiff competition from clubs in Europe’s top five leagues and Portugal. Several teams have requested updated info on the 27-year-old’s contract status.

With rivals circling, Fulham must act swiftly to secure Caci’s signature. Failure to move early could see them lose out to rival suitors.
