Brazilian right-back Tobias and his ex-wife Ingrid Lima recently welcomed a baby girl, Maite, into the world on October 8. To celebrate her birth, Tobias even got a tattoo on his arm that reads, “Maite, I love you.”
However, Ingrid has shared some personal news about their situation. She revealed that their relationship had been on and off around the time Maite was conceived. A DNA test later confirmed that Tobias, who now plays for Shakhtar Donetsk, is not Maite’s biological father.
Ingrid addressed the situation on social media, saying: “I wanted to clear the air about something that’s been causing a lot of buzz. Unfortunately, I need to explain it publicly. Vinicius and I have been separated for a while. During that time, we were both seeing other people and had moved on with our lives. It was during this period that Maite was conceived. We decided to do a DNA test, and it showed that Maite is not Vinicius’ daughter.”
Tobias has not yet commented on the DNA test results.
