Eric Ten Hag Before Betis…
Eric ten Hag in his press conference spoke about the situation at Manchester United and how they see the game against Betis. Manchester United’s boss stopped at Alejandro Garnacho’s injury
Ten Hag does not know the exact time when Garnacho will be available for the team and he hopes to see him back as soon as possible in the squad.
“I’m not sure exactly, but it will take weeks. So it is a serious injury that we expect, but it is a serious injury once again after Christian Eriksen’s and he had this injury after contact.”
Alejandro Garnacho during the game against Southampton.
Commenting on Garnacho’s injury, Ten Hag said that it was a scissor and it was not a good decision.
“It is difficult to make a diagnosis that quickly, but I saw him limping and that’s why I took him off. Also because it was my last opportunity to stop and to bring Sancho as well”
Anthony and the attacking options
Ten Hag said also that Anthony will be missing because he is ill and this is a concern about the United for this game and the game at the weekend against Brighton.
“We will see tomorrow, but we have some options. We have Sancho, Elanga, we have Bruno. So it will be several options but Pelle is obviously one of them [Facundo Pellistri].”
Ten Hag spoke about Bruno Fernandez and Casemiro regarding to their possible suspension if they get a yellow.
“They will play both because it is a very good opponent. Last match we achieved a good result, but we have to go again and we need the best players. Because we need a result, we need a win, so then we need our best team.”
“We will play our best team and we have to put up a team that can adapt during the game and we know that our opponent can. Because they have a good team, really good players. They have a lot of variations, so we have to be aware of that and we have to be ready to go and battle with them.”
United’s main main said that his team wants to win every game no matter what and who is the opponent and United will fight on all fronts this season.
