Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Stands Firm in Contract Negotiations for Micah Parsons

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is unwavering in his stance on the contract negotiations for Micah Parsons, despite agent pushback.

Jerry Jones recently expressed his frustration with Micah Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, for his reluctance to finalize the contract extension that had been previously negotiated. During a conversation with Michael Irvin, Jones revealed that the agent had advised them to forego sending over the paperwork, claiming there were still aspects to negotiate, despite agreements on terms, amounts, and guarantees already in place.

Jones did not mince words when recounting the agent’s response, stating that he had already made concessions on various points and was ready to move forward with the deal. However, Mulugheta’s intervention seemed to disrupt the process, leading Jones to accuse him of attempting to interfere and secure a more favorable outcome for Parsons.

Using a colorful analogy involving a child negotiating between parents, Jones emphasized his commitment to the initial agreements reached with Parsons, asserting that, in his view, the deal was sealed for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite Mulugheta’s efforts to reopen negotiations, Jones remains resolute in his position and shows no intention of deviating from the terms already established.
