Prescott had an MRI on his hamstring after Dallas’s 27-21 loss, and the results were worse than anyone hoped. Although the team hasn’t yet decided whether to place him on injured reserve (which would keep him out for at least four games), Dak will get a second medical opinion to figure out the best treatment options.
Adding to his rough day, Prescott also suffered a minor hand injury in the game, though the good news is that it doesn’t seem serious. With Dak on the sideline, backup quarterback Cooper Rush is expected to step in as the starter, with former first-round pick Trey Lance available as well if needed.
