Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku is set to remain at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season, despite interest from both Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
The 27-year-old French international, who joined Chelsea in a £53 million deal from RB Leipzig in June 2023, was the subject of transfer talks with the two major European clubs. However, both sides have now been priced out of a move after Chelsea’s demands were deemed too high for a January transfer.
Nkunku has made a solid impact since arriving in England, with 16 goals in 43 first-team appearances for the Blues, including 13 goals in 29 games under current coach Enzo Maresca this season.
