The match started with a chance from Armando Broja in the second minute sending a ball wide with an empty target. Chelsea and Fulham wanted the maximum from this game as they were eager for points.
Mydryk cut off from the left wing in the 10th minute, but his shot ended wide. Chelsea had the initiative but was not concrete in the first minutes of the game.
Mykhalo Mydryk opened the game with a shot beneath the legs of Leno after a pass from Colvill.
Armando Broja scored the second in the 20th after a pass from Cole Palmer to double the lead in two minutes.
The game changed in the next few minutes as Marc Cucurella received a yellow in the 34th.
Raul Gimenez tried with a header in the 42nd, but his head went wide. The second half promised more spectacle.
Mykhalo Mydryk was replaced by Ian Maatsen at the start of the second half. Chelsea were improving in their game. Cole Palmer passed for Broja in the 48th, but his header went wide.
Vinicius replaced Raul Gimenez and Alex Iwobi replaced Harry Willson in the 54th to change the names but not the composure in the next minutes.
Cole Palmer tried in the 55th, but his shot was saved by Bernt Leno. Chelsea was playing better and in spite of Fulham’s subs, they were the better side.
Anison Reed passed for Castangne who crossed for Vinicius, with the attacker who could not convert.
Conor Gallagher and Ian Maatsen combined in the 63rd, with Maatsen who found the right post. Armando Broja was injured and was replaced by Raheem Sterling in the 65th.

Harrison Reed left the pitch and he was replaced by Tom Cairney to give more alternatives in the midfield.
Raheem Sterling got a yellow in the 68th minute and that would harm the Chelsea frontline pressing by conditioning the 1v1 duels.
Sasa Lukic replaced Andreas Pereira after the 75th minute and that meant that Fulham could press further with the two midfielders. Sasa Lukic had his chance in the 78th minute but his shot did not enter the goalie.
Lesley Ugochukwu replaced Cole Palmer in the 78th minute and to bring freshness into the game.
Shahid Khan, the chairman of Fulham was in the stadium as his support was more than necessary at this stage of the game. His team under the management of Marco Silva needed more decisive moments and more concrete in front of the keeper. That does not come itself as the players must identify the weak points of the opponents.
Five minutes were added on as the players of both squads were consumed physically and they could not try adventures upfront. Nani Mudueke and Alex Matos came on for Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in the last minute as the match ended with Chelsea’s win with two goals.
