Chelsea won a free kick in the 48th and had the best chance to put themselves ahead with Sterling who shot and found the inside of the bar with Colwill scoring but he was offside.

Tavernier had a chance to score in the 52nd, but his attempt went wide. Bournemouth should have corrected their aim to find the target and test Sanchez. Ugochukwu and Gusto were combining in the right flank but Gusto’s cross was cleared away by Kelly in the 56th.

Luis Cook shot one in the hands of Sanchez in the 57th. Thiago Silva clears the ball in the 57th, with his clearance blocked by Ouattara, and could have been a dangerous chance for Bournemouth, which was pressing high on the pitch in the 58th.

One hour passed and both teams didn’t create too much to risk the target. Coaches thought for the first subs. Rain was over as the goals needed to come.

Subs coming

Mudryk was out in the 63rd for Cole Palmer and Ouattara from the other side left place for Justin Cluivert.

Cole Palmer had the chance to score in the first minute of the game. Sanchez was quicker than Cluivert in the 67th, and the fresh player could not profit from the chance. Gusto tried in the 69th minute, but his attempt ended wide.

Callagher and Jackson try to create something in the 69th, but their action is interrupted by Zabarniy and Kerry.

Marcus Tavernier was replaced by Luis Sinisterra and Milos Kerkez left the pitch for Marcos Senesi.

Disasi tackles Kluivert at the edge of the box and Bournemouth has a chance. Billing hits the ball wide and Chelsea can be quieter and reorganize the game. Solanke had other thoughts and shot in the 78th.

Last minutes

Levi Colwill was replaced by Ben Chilwell in the 81st and Chelsea had fresh legs to attack.

Matsen had the chance of the game, but his shot was blocked by Senesi in the 85th. Cole Palmer should have scored in the same action.

Brooks was on for Christie and Bournemouth to balance the power on the right side. Eight minutes were added on and both teams had no more chances to really risk each one’s target.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw as the two teams had to think about Aston Villa and Brighton away for Bournemouth.
