Borussia Dortmund wins to put pressure in Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen.

Donyell Malen had the first chance in the first minutes of the match testing Zetterer who reacted with a fine save in the fourth minute

In the fifth minute Brandt crossed for Wolf who shot wide with a diagonal header in the first post of Zetterer.

Reus crossed in the 12 minute but his cross ended wide. Dortmund had a very good start but Werder Bremen started to react in the next minutes.

Both teams wanted to make the pitch as big as possible in order to find spaces and use them as best as possible in both flanks.

Dortmund were playing better

Brandt crossed in the 29th minute, but Zetterer was there to intervene. Borussia Dortmund had the best chances with set pieces.

Marco Reus had the best chance to pass Dortmund ahead in the 32nd but his shot inside the zone could not be in target for inches.

Wolff and Ryerson had the initiative in the first half, but this was not enough for both teams. Donyell Malen shot in the zone in the last minute of the first half but Zetterer denies him with a great save.

The second half started and saw Werder Bremen attack and see the target of Gregor Kobel more often.

Dortmund responded with Malen who had a chance in the 54th minute and shot wide in the zone with Zetterer defeated.

Leonardo Bittencourt was penalized with a yellow card in the 61st for a foul in Donyell Malen.

The first goal came

Giovanni Reyna replaced Marco Reus in the 62nd and this was a good sign for Dortmund.

Julian Brandt scored in the zone after a vertical pass by Emre Can to send the match in a new situation changing the moment and giving a deserved advantage to Dortmund.

Leonardo Bittencourt was replaced in the 68th minute by Senne Lynen and Bremen had fresh legs in the pitch.

Donyell Malen and Niclas Fullkrug were replaced by Sebastien Haller and Marcel Sabitzer in the 77th.

Werder made their move and replaced Romano Schmidt by Nick Woltemade in the 81st minute.

Justin Nijmah shot in the 83rd but his shot ended over the bar in the 83rd. Nmecha had his chance in the 83rd also, but could not score. Milos Veljkovic received a yellow as these were not good minutes for Werder Bremen.

Rafael Borre entered the pitch after substituting Anthony Jung in the 87th. This didn’t help Werder Bremen as Giovanni Reyna shot in the 89th, but his shot was blocked.

Four minutes were added on as Karim Adeyemi entered the pitch for Julian Brandt. Nmecha and Reyna combined in the 93rd, but Reyna’s shot ended wide.

The match ended with Dortmund earning the three points and temporarily taking the lead with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen to play.
