Bayern wins against Galatasaray to rule with full nine points in Group A

Kingsley Koman scored in the seventh minute after a pass from Leroy Sane to send the Bavarians one step ahead in the game.

It was exactly Sane, who received a yellow card for showing unnecessary frustration to Davide Massa. Bayern was playing better against Galatasaray who had their chances.

Lucas Torreira shot inches wide in the 24th and this was a sign that the game actually can change and turn in their outcome.

Icardi was tackled in the box by Kim Min Jae and Massa has no doubts. Galatasaray won a penalty.

Icardi scored from 12 yards to equalize the game in the 30th minute. Galatasaray had the goal they deserved with a panenka.

Icardi tried once more in the 32nd, but his attempt went wide. Bayern responded with Leroy Sane in the 33rd, but he could not find the target either.

Konrad Laimer received a yellow on the 31st and this complicated things in the midfield.

Kerem Akturkoglu had a chance 1v1 with Sven Ulreich but the keeper stretched his body to deny the midfielder the goal of advantage.

Leroi Sane had the chance in the 44th, but his long run was unsuccessful. Muslera saved his ball after being able to block the ball.

Joshua Kimmich lost the ball in the 46th and Mauro Icardi could have scored in the last minute of the game.

Second Half

Bayern had the initiative in the second half with Leroy Sane in the first minute of the second half.

Galatasaray responded with Lucas Torreira who shot from the distance in the 53rd minute. Tete received a yellow in the same minute for pulling Leroy Sane.

Kingsley Koman had a shot in the 56th but his attempt ended wide. Okan Buruk decided to replace Tete with Dries Mertens to change things in the attack.

Lucas Torreira had the chance after the cross from Dries Mertens but his header went wide in the 57th minute.

Icardi could and should have scored in the 61st, but he slowed himself to be denied by Bayern’s central defenders.

Kan Ayhan received a yellow for fouling Kingsley Koman in the 62nd. He was not on the same level as Torreira and this reflected in his game.

Bayern grabbed the lead

Kane scored in the 73rd with Harry Kane after a pass from Jamal Musiala. Bayern had the game in their hands with 15 minutes to go.

Ziyech and Baris Yilmaz entered the pitch for Zaha and Kerem Akturkoglu. Angelino replaced Karatas in the 75th minute.

Bayern replaced Mazraoui with Bonna Sarr in the 78th and Tuchel put a fresh team in the field. This gave their effect and Bayern scored once more.

Jamal Musiala scored in the 79th minute to practically secure the match for Bayern. They were all over the place with quick passes, effective team play, and attackers who wanted to take the space.

Bayern had more chances and played better in the second half. Harry Kane can punish each team and the defense of Galatasaray should have defended better. Sanchez made a mistake in the second goal and that made them weaker in their game.

Kaan Ayhan had a poor performance and he was replaced by Tanguy Ndombele in the 80th minute.

Bayern replaced Coman and Kane with Eric Maxim Choupo Moting in the 83rd and this seemed to be a prepared strategy by Tuchel. He responded to Buruk at every step and this worked for Bayern.

Konrad Laimer was injured by Davidson Sanchez and this was the overall result of his game. He was second all the game and this foul in the 89th minute was the result of his performance during the game.

The match ended with a super Bayern who is in first place with nine points in three matches
