The formation of Bayer Leverkusen has left everyone surprised this season as they have the recipe to defeat any opponent in this Bundesliga season.
Alonso played with three at the back with two wings advanced and four in the midfield with Boniface advanced. Bayer Leverkusen had a lot of chances to score. Boniface had some good moments escaping the defense.
Lucas Hradecky had a really tough game. He had nothing to do with the first and the second goal. He did some wonderful saves including the one against Gnabry in the first half.

Jeremie Frimpong was so quick on his side, but he missed some important chances and if positioned better could have sent his team in advantage. He was caught offside in the 56th and could have scored.

Odilon Koussonou played almost in the right wing covering Frimpong’s runs and dealing with Serge Gnabry. He was also up in the third part of the pitch, being part of th high pressing and the Leverkusen’s attacks.

Jonathan Tah was the last defender and had to close Harry Kane. He succeeded in the most part of the game, but could not do anything to close Goretzka to scoring in the 86th. Bayern played in the entrance of the zone and this is particularly his responsibility.

Edmond Tapsoba played until the last minute when he was subbed by Hrobzek. He covered Sane and was responsible for some spaces that Leverkusen normally does not allow in the center.

Alejandro Grimaldo is the type of defender who guarantees quality, goals, and above all quality performances. His positioning in the attack and also behind made his game perfect.

Robert Andrich’s performance was below the average level. He maintained his position but allowed so much in the center of the midfield. He was eventually replaced by Palacios at the end of the first half.

Jonas Hoffman particularly was on his left side, exchanging positions with Wirtz and playing a great game. He won the penalty of the equalizer and was in a good rhythm during the game.

Victor Okoh Boniface played in the majority of the game on the left side of the attack and was productive. He had some good moments, but in the majority of the game, Upamecano blocked him.

Substitutions
Exequiel Palacious was the player who scored the equalizer and at the same time changed the second half for Leverkusen.
