Arteta said after the victory in Community shield that he feels great sharing the joy and emotion with Arsenal fans.

The Arsenal main coach can’t hide his emotions after winning such an important trophy in Wembley, in the first official match of the season. Arteta opened his press conference with the words of a winner and the trophy is the just the beginning of a successful season.

“I don’t think it gets much better than winning a trophy and probably against the best team in the world, in Wembley and do it in the way we’ve done it. So really encouraging, we had some great moments in the game. Especially, in the first half, with three massive chances.”

“But, unfortunately you don’t put them away, a little error in the midfield and don’t clear the ball and the next second the ball is at the back of the net. And then is a very difficult game to play and I think we made the right choices and changes helped formation, changes helped and we think we kept some momentum there and allowed to win the game, the goal and the penallties.”

Arteta was asked to comment Ramsdale’s opinion over a mental blocking surrounding Arsenal and the main coach of gunners responded in that way:

“I don’t have to agree or disagree. I don’t feel that way is great. At the end is what the players feel when they are there and they are convinced that they can beat any team. The challenge and especially the maturity and how often they play finals, but I think we showed today a real resilience and determination to fight and to win the game.”

Arteta commented the game of Kai Havertz and his behavior in the pitch. He said about Havertz that he is so intelligent and he is very physical and can understand the games easily. The coach also spoke about Ramsdale’s performance.

“He was great and we practiced the penalties today and a lot on purpose in pre season and to be ready for this just in case. We went through disappointments against Manchester United for example and we won’t stop any of those and this was the learning code that something is needed to get the right results at the end and I think it was superb.”
