Arteta gave his impressions for all the journey as well for the matches and the stadiums visited in the US.

“It leaves us with a really good feeling. It was a good way as well for the team to say thank you because we have been hosted in the best possible way. We had a great time, we shared the facilities of the Rams as well in LA. This is our ownership, so it was a special day for them as well.”

“They put so much effort for us to be here and it was just incredible to play in this amazing stadium – I haven’t seen anything like it. The boys were just saying it was a privilege to be here.”

Match with Barcelona

The coach touched all the aspects of the last match saying that the match was intense and Arsenal showed quality in the game. Arsenal has a lot to improve this season and the tour in the United States is just the beginning. Some players were in the best conditions and Arsenal and the coach have all the belief on them.

Saka, Trossard, Martinelli together with Gabriel Jesus and CO are some of the elements that Arteta knows can lead the team. The last friendly was just about confirmation and at the same time being able to handle the pressure on the field.

“Obviously it’s pre-season but it got very, very competitive at the end. When you play a team with the stature of Barcelona, you have to be at it. I think the players showed a great level today, we did a lot of positive things, with our intensity our desire, and the quality that we showed as well, especially in the attacking moments, it was impressive.”

The support according to Arteta was amazing and Arsenal felt like home in this pre-season games. The coach did not forget to mention that he was grateful to the wonderful crowds and the support outside the stadium.

“We certainly feel a big difference now in the States with the support we are having. We were in three cities, Washington DC, New York, and now in LA and it’s getting bigger and bigger. So thank you so much to everybody because we really feel at home now here.”
