However, behind this success story stands a remarkable athlete in her own right – Ronika Stone. Hailing from San Jose, Stone’s journey from a standout at Valley Christian High School to a legend at the University of Oregon is nothing short of extraordinary.
During her time at Oregon, Stone made a lasting impact, becoming the highest-rated volleyball recruit in the school’s history. Her impressive record of over 1,200 kills and nearly 500 blocks over four seasons speaks volumes about her talent and dedication, setting benchmarks that still endure in the Ducks’ program.
Stone’s professional career kicked off in France with Volero Le Cannet in 2020, where she wasted no time in making her mark by being named Best Spiker. She then ventured back to the U.S. to compete in the Athletes Unlimited Pro League before making waves in Puerto Rico’s Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino, garnering acclaim on the international stage.
