A Chicago Bulls star made a special trip to Springfield over the weekend to witness his head coach, Billy Donovan, being honored with a well-deserved Hall of Fame induction. Donovan, who recently secured a mysterious multi-year contract extension with the Bulls, was among the esteemed Class of 2025. The ceremony was attended by several of Donovan’s former players and current Bulls squad members, including guards Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu, wing Dalen Terry, and forwards Matas Buzelis and Patrick Williams. Former Bulls center Joakim Noah, a two-time All-Star, also graced the event to show support for his old college coach, who he won two titles with at Florida in 2006 and 2007.
The presence of these prominent figures from the Chicago Bulls organization underscores Donovan’s reputation as a coach who values and connects well with his players.
