Anwar El Ghazi makes a public statement where he explains his position regarding the conflict in the Middle East, between Palestine and Israel.
He publicly claims that his position as a player has not changed and he will not remain silent until the world recognizes the crimes happening in Gaza. He added that he has not apologized for his previous comments.
Saying so, El Ghazi remains a strong supporter of peace and adds that he as a player feels responsible and reacts to the civilian losses in the Middle East.
At the same time, the player said in his statement that he is against any form of crime and against Islamophobia. He ended his appeal believing in justice and equality in the world.

El Ghazi took a suspension and a warning to terminate his contract by his club Mainz if these comments were repeated. The club says that the player will stay but after the last comment, no one knows how things will go.
