Liverpool won with two goals to stay in the track of Champions. Everton play well but take no points.

This Mersyside derby decided the next objectives of the squads for the rest of the season as Liverpool and Everton prepared for a spectacular game.

The game started with a minute of silence in honor of the victims in Gaza and after that everything left place for the pitch to give the verdict.

Calvert Lewin had a chance with a header in the first minute after a cross by Dwight McNeil.

Liverpool combined with a quick attack and Diaz, Szoboszlai, Salah could have been resulted, but Salah was caught offside.

Tsimikas crossed a ball in the seventh minute, but Jota didn’t interfere with the trajectory of the ball.

Ashleuy Young gets the first yellow

Ashley Young received a yellow in the 18th minute and that meant that Diaz had more freedom in the left wing.

Trent Alexander Arnold tried one in the 40th, but his shot went wide the target of Pickford.

The second half

The Mersyside Derby has produced more red cards than any other fixture in the Premier League in the last three decades.

Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison left the field to be replaced by Michael Keane and Nathan Patterson. The second half started with Liverpool in the attack.

Nine minutes were added on and Jota tried one in the 92nd but his shot ended wide. Szoboszlai advanced in the box and shot wide in the 96th with Everton seem to have sorrendered the game.

The derby was decided with Nunez and Salah who combined and Salah who defeats Pickford with a shot in the zone in the 97th minute.

The match ended with Liverpool who won a pragmatic match thanks to a double of Mo Salah.
